After breakfast, leave for a half
day tour of the city. Discover the new and the old Dubai.
The route takes you past some of Dubai's beautiful landmarks.
The magnificent Mosque in Jumeirah, the sunny Jumeirah Beach,
Burj Al Arab, the tallest standing hotel in the world, the
Camel Race Track, Dubai Race & Golf Club and the Sheikh's
Palace. Take a short break by the Creek to view the amazing
architecture of Deira Towers, before visiting the fascinating
underground Dubai Museum. The journey continues through the
colorful textile market and the glittering gold souk where
you can feast your eyes on the dazzling display of gold jewellery.
Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Evening take an optional
Dhow cruise to see Dubai at night. Cruise along the creek
and see the 'City of Lights' while you enjoy your sumptuous
dinner. This is a unique two and a half hour experience where
you glide gently past illuminated souks, banks and palaces
- a very relaxing evening. Transfer back to the hotel. |
| Day 03 |
After breakfast spend the day at
leisure or take an optional Desert Safari Tour. A trip to
the desert offers a taste of the true heartland of Arabia.
This safari tour takes you right into the heart of the desertwhere
you experience the excitement of a rollercoaster ride into
the magnificent red sand dunes. Stop briefly for a breathtaking
view of the endless desert. Enjoy the contrast of the desert
night at Lahbab Village and dressed in traditional Arab clothes,
enjoy the camel rides and the amazing falcon show. Savour
aromatic Arabian coffee and tea, wander around the camp or
just laze around the bonfire. Feast on the delicious BBQ dinner
and Arab specialities. Be entertained by a belly dancer, swaying
to the rhythms of Arabic music. Join the fun and stomp your
feet on the dance floor to wind up your night. Return to the
hotel. |

Shopping: One of Dubais greatest attractions for visitors
is its superb shopping. Being an open port with low import duties
and no taxation, the city offers the bargain hunter unbeatable value.
Most major brand name products are readily available and are often
less expensive in Dubai than in their country of origin. Whether
youre looking for French fashion, Japanese electronics or
Italian accessories and footwear, Dubais malls have it all.
Souk shopping can be entertaining as well as profitable and bargaining
is expected. The sheer variety of goods available in the winding
alleys is bewildering - from gold and the latest in electronics,
cameras and wrist watches to spices, silk, household appliances
and sports goods.
Sport and Leisure:Dubai is the undisputed sport
capital of the Middle East, hosting world class international
events that attract some of the biggest names in their respective
sport, whether in golf, tennis, horse racing, rallying, powerboating,
rugby or sailing. Apart from spectator sports, visitors to Dubai
can actively participate in a wide variety of land and watersports
that include golf, bowling, ice-skating, archery, horse riding,
scuba diving, snorkelling, sailing, water-skiing, jet-skiing,
deep sea fishing and windsurfing.
Getting Around:Self-drive as well as chauffeur driven
cars are available and a temporary local driving licence can be
arranged. Taxis are easily obtained in Dubai. The Dubai Transport
Corporation's ivory coloured taxis are fitted with fare meters.
In the case of all other taxis, fares are subject to negotiation
between the driver and passenger.
The Wonder Bus Dubai City Tours:The Wonder Bus takes you
around the beautiful city sights. The bus has comfortable &
spacious seats and a large TV screen. This amphibious bus is manufactured
in New York State. It also cruises Dubai Creek, for a glimpse
of beautiful architecture and historic buildings on the both shores.
Dining and Nightlife:Dubais many fine hotel restaurants
offer a microcosm of the worlds cuisine. The choice is limitless
- Gulfand Middle Eastern, Indian, French, Italian, Mexican and
much more. Dubai also offers hundreds of small
eating places scattered throughout the city. Fast food ranges
from several big international chains to shawarma
outlets, selling grilled shavings of lamb or chicken, mixed with
salad and rolled inside a pocket of Arabic bread. By night, Dubai
has something for everyone. Bars and pubs can be found in all
top hotels, most of them featuring live music. There are many
discotheques and nightclubs too.Desert Adventures There are a
variety of exciting packages available including desert and mountain
safaris, visits to camel farms and isolated villages within Dubai.
Popular desert sports include dune driving, sand skiing and camel
riding. The highlight of many excursions into the desert is an
Arabian barbecue after nightfall, complete with music and a belly
dancer. Accommodation Dubai has many top class international hotels
that offer the highest standards of luxury. In addition, there
are number of excellent medium-priced and low budget hotels. Dubais
hotels are designed to cater to the needs of tourists and business
visitors. High standards are expected and maintained.

Aby Dhabi :Enjoy a full day tour to Abu Dhabi, the capital
of the UAE, situated about 170 kms away. The first landmark before
reaching the city of Abu Dhabi is the Jebel Ali Port, the biggest
man-made port in the world. Many of the city's striking examples
of modern architecture show intriguing interpretations of Islamic
themes. Admire the skill and dexterity oflocal ladies making traditional
handicrafts at the Women's Handicraft Centre. Then drop by at
Abu Dhabi's oldest building, Al Husn Palace, before proceeding
to the Petroleum Exhibition. Learn
everything about 'black gold' - oil and how it transformed Abu
Dhabi into the city it is today. Drive along the beautiful Corniche
and to the Breakwater for a magnificent view of the city. Stop
at the Dhow Yard, where wooden ships are still built using simple
tools.
Sharjah and Ajman Tour : This tour is an introduction
to the Emirate of Sharjah, also known as the 'Pearl of the Gulf'.
One of its many landmarks is the King Faisal Mosque, currently
the largest mosque in the Emirates. Continue to the renovated
Fort of Sharjah, that was originally built in 1820. The Al Naboodah
House, the museum for cultural heritage is the next place to see.
Take a quick stroll on the adjacent souks of 'Al Arsa' and visit
'Al Markazi' souk - a treasure troveof carpets, jewelry and handicrafts.
After a short stop for shopping at the Gold Center, the tour continues
to the Emirates of Ajman and its famous museum. Visit the old
dhow-building yards and see how these dhows (wooden sailing boats)
are still built today in the traditional way.
Adventure Tour: Head for the magnificent mountains of
the UAE in 4WD vehicles. The first leg takes you out of Dubai
towards the golden sand dunes. Then visit the old village of Hatta,
Dubai Emirates' only mountain resort. Visit the Portuguese Fort
which was built in the 14th century. Continue driving through
the wadis until you reach the mountain pools where you can swim
in cool refreshing waters. Lunch at the Hatta Fort Hotel. Experience
Bedouin life on an excursion in the desert. Enjoy the thrilling
roller-coaster rides on the sand dunes and watch the beautiful
sunset before proceeding to the Lahbab Village. Wear traditional
Arab clothes while you take a camel ride, sip the aromatic Arabian
coffee or tea, watch the falcon show or just sit around the bonfire.
Enjoy a delicious BBQ dinner of freshly cooked Arabic specialties.

fun on the dance floor before heading back to Dubai.
Al Ain City Tour:Located 140 kms from Dubai at the foot
of the mountains, Al Ain, which has a history dating back to 4
millenium BC, is known for its modern charms and lush, green public
parks, gardens and wide boulevards. The nation's largest museum
is located within the confines of Al Jahili Fort where finds from
archaeological excavations on Jabel Hafit are on display. See
impressive ancient tombs of historical importance at the Huh Gardens.
Close to Al Ain is a craggy mountain rising steeply from the surrounding
desert. Also of interest are the numerous caves, sites of archaeological
excavations and Ain Al Fayda, the top health resort located over
a natural hot spring on top of the mountain.
